Join Birmingham Deafblind (BDB) and help support citizens who are Deaf, blind, and Deafblind to live independently and confidently within their communities.
We are a growing organisation providing flexible, person-centred support across Birmingham and surrounding areas.
About The Role
The recruits at BDB work directly with citizens in the community, helping with:
• Attending appointments
• Social activities
• Community access
• Communication support
• Promoting independence and confidence
This is a flexible role that can be tailored around your availability.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for individuals who are:
• Reliable and compassionate
• Good communicators
• Patient and understanding
• Willing to learn and adapt
Experience is welcome but not essential. Training and support will be provided.
An enhanced DBS check and references will be required.
